The MCA 8-week educational program provides students with in-person, hands-on experience in key curricula developed by subject matter experts, including:

  • Cannabis horticulture
  • Budtending 101
  • Cannabis extraction and processing
  • Entrepreneur training
  • Intro to medical marijuana and cannabis law

Through the program, students also form relationships with cannabis operators and Alternative Treatment Centers, uniquely preparing them for future careers in cannabis, either as entrepreneurs or employees in the marketplace.

The Good Green grant will enable the Minority Cannabis Academy to hire new educators, secure a facility for their upcoming cohort, purchase learning materials, and much more as they educate the next generation of cannabis industry leaders.
